The Rebellion of Silk and Iron is a Japanese-inspired dark fantasy cover created for the first novel in an original series. The artwork combines historical Edo-period aesthetics, yokai folklore, steampunk influences, and epic fantasy into a cinematic composition that introduces the novel's central conflict and its main cast.
For this project, I was responsible for the complete cover design, including the front cover illustration, full wraparound layout, back cover environment, typography integration, and print-ready production. The composition was carefully built to balance multiple protagonists, a towering dragon spirit, and symbolic elements while maintaining strong readability and visual impact across both print and digital formats.
